I'm Alen (37) and I'm glad you stopped by! Hope you’ve enjoyed what you’ve seen so far. 

I’m a content creator, graphic designer, and mostly frontend developer based in the small but charming country of Croatia, down in South-East Europe (don’t worry if you haven’t heard of it – you're not alone!). 

I design a wide range of content, but my specialties are gamer-focused and sport-focused designs, as well as tees and hoodies featuring dark or snarky humor, and those centered around nature (cityscapes) and fantasy art.

Most of my work comes to life through classic Adobe design tools like Photoshop, but I also use others like Figma, Canva, and some of the latest AI image creation tools - such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Leonardo AI, Ideogram AI, Remix AI, and many more powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). Whatever gets the job done!

On the side, I also run a few eBay/Vinted and other types of stores, selling/reselling everything from hardware tech to Legos, toys, furniture, cosmetics, and fashion accessories. Sometimes, I create or write music using platforms like SUNO and UDIO, or participate in game testing and user testing for websites and games developed by indie creators. I spend my springs, summers, and fall collecting spare PET bottles for nickels or helping out at the local farm. You could say my interests are many - and a bit eclectic.

I also build and make custom websites for local clients using the unbeatable trio of frontend (HTML,CSS,JS + BOOTSTRAP or REACT) but those usually take me more time unlike classic premade CMS/platfroms.

P.S. I want to clarify that my nickname, or some of the pseudonyms I use, do not promote any ideologies. They are simply an unfortunate coincidence - referencing my year of birth and a term meaning “to fillet a fish” in my local Croatian dialect. I chose them intentionally to annoy certain people locally, mostly in the boomer generation (picture that Lazy sloth from Zootopia) who, from my perspective, have or are systematically blocking progress and creativity, especially in areas related to AI, entrepreneurship, small businesses by misuse of their position of power, notice I used certain, I don't generalize, and by introducing new taxes and tariffs every season or election cycle. Honestly 2-3 apps can replace or will auto-replace most of those "bureaucratic despots and arhaic smalltalkers", if they haven't already.

Yeah, I know that I can be sarcastic at times, but I don’t go around trolling people all day since I’m not on social media all the time. I’m self-taught in some areas, and like anyone, I do make mistakes - whether written, syntactical, or in judgment - so constructive feedback is always appreciated.

There is little to no incentive from the locals to support small businesses or entrepreneurship here. I might not have the latest equipment, tools, or knowledge to do everything on my own, but I always try to learn as I go. I usually approach people based on their merits, previous work, or something I find interesting, using common sense and practicality.

Words are easy to use, gaming is easy, picking up a phone is easy, arguing or being toxic is easy, or even filming oneself all day - these are all zero-sum games. But creating something of any value from nothing takes time, dedication, knowledge and skill. Well, it used to be different, nowadays most of so called "digital nomads" all talk/chat with LLMs and GPTs.
